THE HANDBOOK OF CRABOUILLAGE ENGLISH RUNCRABADAPTATION by Corinne Faure-Geors
This handbook is the latest edition of the pixellated version of "Brûler le pavé", published in 2015 by Le petit jaunais, with texts and lithographs by Gilbert Lascault, Nancy Sulmont-A. et Michel Lascault.
It has been revised, amended, extended, synthetized and somewhat distorted, and features two methods of crabouillage. The word itself stresses the indifference to the result.
These two methods, presented in the form of two hand-drawn tutorials, are called running crabouillage (a combination of jogging/walking and drawing) and belly art. They require minimal equipment, are easy to get into and ask for no special talent. A glossary and a dialogue cast light and shadow upon the various aspects of the two practices.
